As a custom platform for the FAST System, our 10-0 tactical vest was developed specifically for law enforcement and security in response to “Active Shooter” incidents. Once fitted to the individual officer, the 10-0 can be quickly put on or removed by utilizing the “zip down” feature on the front of the vest. The 10-0 can be worn over a uniform, coat, or ballistic vest (inner and/ or outer ballistic vest). The 10-0 is equipped with a “high rise” design that provides a 3-5” space between the gun belt and vest. This design serves two purposes. First, it allows the officer to freely access all equipment on their gun belt. Second, it will not “bunch up” into the gun belt while sitting down or firing from a crouched or kneeling position. Again, this “bunching” can effect access to the gun belt and cause discomfort. The 10-0 “high rise” also lifts the officer’s equipment up, closer to the primary weapon. Made of 1000 D nylon.
