FAST SYSTEM

AFTER ACTION REPORT

I am a Police Officer and firearms instructor for the Dept. I have been a member of the SWAT team for the past 3 years. As any police officer or someone serving in the armed forces, new equipment regularly hits the streets and most of it is modified junk. I tested the Fast System and am a true believer; no one serving in special operations should be without it.

SET UP: I am a left handed shooter and had to change the rear plate to modify it for right handed draw. I found this very easy simply removing Phillip head screws and flipping the relief plate over. I mounted the system on my pro-tech vest simply using the Molle system. Having Molle on the outside of the Fast System carrier allowed me to mount my Taser.

RANGE: At the range I found the fast system to be tight on my vest. I liked having the three magazines lined up as added protection. The magazines weight was evenly distributed along my right side unlike having a double stack mag pouch.

On the fire line reloading was unbelievably fast. Having the mags so close and ready to go is remarkable. The fast system puts your spare mags the closest distance to your mag well. With minimal training any shooter can use the Fast System to their advantage. Members of the team stood behind and could not believe how fast reloading was. While shooting specific number of rounds other officers fired to empty at the same time. Using the Fast System I was up and running again well before other officers. This was also the case from the kneeling and prone position.

Being that Officer that likes to try new equipment such as open mag pouches with mag pulls nothing can compare to the Fast Systems speed and durability. Once you try it you will be hooked and the investment is minimal for something that could save your life. You developed a phenomenal product.
