Q. Do PMAGS work in the current M4 FAST System
A. No, only standard capacity M16/M4 magazines work inside the current M4 FAST System. After years of testing STRAC endorses C-Products stainless steels magazines.

Q. How many standard capacity M16/M4 magazines fit inside the FAST System?
A. 3

Q. Is the FAST System ambidextrous?
A. Yes. The relief flap position will determine left or right handed shooter.

Q. Can the FAST System be attached to MOLLE Vest’s?
A. Yes. The FAST Carrier was also equipped with 4 D Rings to allow an operator to attach the unit to just about any vest.

Q. Can you stack 2 FAST Units on top of one another?
A. Don’t do it. And don’t purchase 2 units to be worn on both sides of your torso. The FAST System was designed to get you off the X by providing 3 of the fastest reloads possible - from any position. The rest of your load out MUST be comprised of magazine pouches and whatever else it is that you would carry on patrol.

Q. Will magazines fall out of the FAST System when the operator hits the ground hard?
A. No

Q. If you get shot and the FAST System takes a hit what happens?
A. The FAST System itself is not ballistic. Our range testing revealed that a direct hit makes a hole the size of the round and no bigger. Bottom line - although not ballistic, the FAST System provides greater protection than any current load bearing gear.

Q. Will STRAC be adapting this product to fit other weapons such as MP-5 for law enforcement use?
A. Yes.

Q. What about durability? If I have to go to the ground and need a snap reload I’d be pissed if sand or gravel or something jammed it or something?
A. Jamming will never be an issue - See After Action Reports Section.

Q. What does STRAC stand for?
A. STRONG, TOUGH, READY AROUND THE CLOCK.

Q. I think a lot of people are getting this pouch confused for a stand alone ammo implement. This is NOT your sole source of ammunition folks! I think of it as an “oh sh*t” kit. I mean, sure you have 300 rounds on you already, but that doesn’t stop you from carrying a knife. Sure you’ll only be out for a few hours, but that doesn’t stop you from bringing a 100oz of water. Sh*t happens, and you may like to have that 90 rounds “on tap”. A small price to pay to give a professional peace of mind.
A. That wasn’t a question but it was one heck of an answer.
