Designed for close quarter combat (CQC) the M4 FAST System is the only reloading device in the world that provides a single recovery point for multiple magazines.
Through muscle memory this single recovery point allows the operator to keep their eyes and weapon focused forward and on target. A proficient operator equipped
with the FAST System will be able reloaded and continue firing before the magazine they just dropped stops moving on the ground. Basically the fastest reloads
possible.
The FAST System is also the only reloading device in the world that allows the operator a “one touch” feature that prevents undue manipulation after
initial magazine recovery. Each magazine is framed with respect to the weapon and exposed for easy recovery. Because of its unique design the M4 FAST System
will allow the operator to remain completely focused on the threat (eyes and weapon) while negotiating sub 2 second reloads from any position.
The M4 FAST System
is ambidextrous and holds standard 5.56 magazines (standard size magazines only). It is not intended to be a sole source of magazines and should always be accompanied
by whatever load-out the operator would normally use (pouches, etc). Magazines inside the FAST System are loaded in a front to back configuration unlike current
side by side configurations. This unique configuration reduces the system’s profile and allows magazine weight to be spread evenly across the operator’s torso.
Equipped with current load bearing equipment it takes highly trained soldiers months and even years of training to master a continuously fast reload. Equipped
with the FAST System an operator can master a continuous sub-2 second reload in a matter of minutes (basically the fastest reloads they’ve ever done). The economy
of motion established in this short period of time will decrease the amount of training hours needed.
